Mission - Mark 16:15

"Evangelism" from the word which means, "to proclaim". We are a fellowship of proclaimers. Each one spreading the gospel through the avenues of preaching and teaching as prescribed by the Lord Jesus Christ. The methods may be different but the message is still the same.
This church has incorporated different approaches to reaching out to the community surrounding the church building itself. Through Outreach Ministries we are able to further reach our goal of proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus through loving efforts such as our Homeless Ministry, Food Bank, Clothing Bank, Gang and Troubled Youth Outreach, Adopt-A-Block, and more.

Membership - ACTS 2:42, 46-47
42And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. 46So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, 47praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved. - NKJV
According to Acts 2 this church realizes the necessity for fellowship among the believers in order to encourage strength in the Christian's walk as well as promote unity within the very fabric of its structure. So as a practice PICC has incorporated various functions both on an individual basis as well as on a corporate basis in order to support the commonality of all the believers within and without.
Maturity - Matthew 28:18-20
18Jesus, undeterred, went right ahead and gave his charge: "God authorized and commanded me to commission you: 19Go out and train everyone you meet, far and near, in this way of life, marking them by baptism in the threefold name: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. 20Then instruct them in the practice of all I have commanded you. I'll be with you as you do this, day after day after day, right up to the end of the age." - THE MESSAGE
The key emphasis to reaching out to the community is to make disciples of those who we lead into the Kingdom. Disciplesip times are provided through are group ministries, such as: Wednesday Night Equiping (A selection of Bible classes are available for all ages), Men's Ministry, Women's Ministry, Marriage Ministry and more. All are developed with the mindset to bring out the best in you. |
Ministry - Eph 4:12
"to train Christians in skilled servant work, working within Christ's body, the church," The church exists to minister to people. Ministry is demonstrating God's love to others by meeting their needs and healing their hurts in the name of Jesus The purpose of every church is to ".equip the saints for the work of ministry" The key value in the cycle of developing well rounded Christians is to develop them for their life mission and that is to be equipped to do the work of ministry. By proper training and mentoring members receive the necessary tools for working in, developing and launch out in to a ministry of their own.

We as a cooperate body recognize the need and importance for worship in the lives of every believer. In order to have a solid experience with the presence of God one must consider God as the object of his divine worship. Second he must be willing to worship God freely and openly in order to do that they must be willing to be themselves in their worship experience, careful not to draw attention to one self so as to distract others from their own personal worship experience, but more to enhance the worship time of others by example.We are firm believer that God is enthroned on the praise of His people and we believe that we are His people.
